Simple Candle Centerpieces

Candle centerpieces add romantic lighting and ambience to wedding receptions.

They can also be some of the most inexpensive centerpieces that you could put together.

You can get candles individually from a store like Michaels or AC Moore but you can also buy them by the pack at your local Dollar store.

Here are a few options for including candles in your wedding reception centerpieces.

Candelabras are very elegant and are an excellent choice for a classy affair.

You could just rent a simple silver candelabra from a party rental store or you could add flowers to add some fullness to your centerpieces.

You could use battery operated tea lights to your centerpieces to reduce the chance of having your arrangements go up in flames.

An idea of what you may want to use a battery operated tea light for would be

hurricane vases in which you would put the tea light on top of other decorative materials.

You could put items like sand, rose petals, leaves (for an autumn theme), sea shells in

the bottom of the hurricane vase and place one battery operated tea light on top for a simple and unique centerpiece.

The easiest way that I can think of to incorporate candles into your centerpieces is to just place some pillar candles on a table surrounded by rose petals that coordinate with your wedding colors.

Water and Candle Arrangements

You can create some beautiful centerpieces by combining fire and water.

Put flowers in a bulb vase full of water and add a single floating candle.

Instead of using flowers and floating candles you could have flower shaped floating candles.

Here you see a beautiful arrangement of glass cylinders filled with water, rose petals and a single floating candle.

You can use these examples to get you started on creating your own unique centerpieces. Find battery operated tea lights and more items on our supplies page.
