Centerpieces for $5 each!

by Alicia
(Darby, PA)

For my classmates wedding, she didn't want to spend much on the reception and ceremony because of the high cost of the honeymoon they were taking. She did, however, still want to keep up an aura of sophistication and elegance. We went to several florist to price centerpieces. Although she found one she really liked, it was about $45. So here's what we did: took a picture of the centerpiece from all angles.

1. Went to Barnes & Nobles and purchased a book on silk floral arrangements ($12.50)
2. Decided on the flowers most like those we wanted to use and hurried off to Michaels Arts and Craft Store. (spent $70)

For $70 we were able to create lovely centerpieces for each table, plus two for the head table!

With help from a few savvy friends, your ideal wedding doesn't have to cost a fortune!
