Listen to Wedding Music Samples

Listening to wedding music samples can help you come up with a song list to provide to your band or DJ. You can find songs that you like and get the correct title for the music so that it's easier to find the CD or sheet music if necessary.

You might even find that there is some music that you absolutely do not want played. You should inform the band or DJ about that music as well.

If you would like to know which specific parts of your reception you should choose music and create a song list for then you can learn about reception music in more detail.

First Dance Wedding Music Samples

It seems like most couples tend to spend more time trying to figure out exactly which song they will dance to for their first dance than any other music that is played their entire wedding day.

So I have found some of the most popular songs that couples are choosing for their first dances.

Ceremony Music Plus

It seems like couples don't really focus on ceremony music anymore. My husband and I had

  • prelude music (music played before the ceremony)
  • a song for the bridal party entrance to the ceremony
  • a bridal march (song for bride entering the ceremony)
  • as well as two songs during the ceremony (one which I ended up singing myself)
  • and a song to exit the ceremony

If you are interested in music for more than just the reception then you should listen to some really beautiful piano wedding music samples.

You can also get some ideas for every other type of music that you could need for your wedding day by looking at the lyrics of these wedding songs.
