You can do most things yourself

by Stephanie M.
(Baltimore)

I made my own centerpieces for my wedding. Michaels and ACmoore often have beautiful flowers on sale and if you have time (like months before you wedding to plan things) you can get them on clearance and buy them in bulk and even use coupons to purchase them at a discounted rate. I bought flowers and a floating candle holder. I matched floating blue rose candles and blue flowers for the center pieces. The candles went in the holders and the flowers went around the sides of the holder. I didn't see the bubbles and wedding favors in the dollar store back when I got married, however, I have seen swan shaped bubbles, rings with doves on them, as well as many other cool wedding and bridal favors at the dollar store. In Michaels I have seen beautiful invitation kits where if you have a really good printer, you can print and make your own. Half yearly Michaels has a sale where a lot of their products are really discounted too.
